In the early days of Donald Trump’s presidency, his actions have certainly stirred the pot in Washington.

President Trump’s tenure has started with a whirlwind of activity, as he took immediate steps to implement his vision of making America great again.

Immediately upon taking office, he began wielding significant influence over numerous national institutions, leaving many Americans divided over these sweeping policy shifts.

A significant move made recently was his decision to suspend all federal grant and loan disbursements, potentially disrupting a multitude of services across the country. This move has been met with widespread confusion and concern, impacting millions across various states.

Because of the chaos sparked by these decisions, a federal judge has temporarily put the order on hold. In addition, President Trump granted numerous pardons last week to a considerable number of his supporters who had been previously incarcerated for crimes related to the events of January 6, 2021, during the Capitol riot. This act has drawn considerable criticism, notably from law enforcement who were involved in quelling the unrest.

The pardons have only added to the tension, raising eyebrows within his own party, as some senators express reservations about his choices for key positions such as the health secretary and Director of National Intelligence.
