The heart-wrenching search for a missing plane in Alaska has come to a tragic conclusion.

After disappearing from radar, there was an intense search effort. Sadly, the remains of the plane were found on the frozen sea with all 10 passengers onboard having lost their lives.

The small commuter plane had been reported missing over Alaska, leaving friends and family in anguish until the tragic news was confirmed. The flight was overdue, and officials have now confirmed the crash, resulting in the loss of everyone on board.

On Friday, search teams discovered the wreckage on sea ice, matching the description of the missing plane, and confirmed the tragic reality of no survivors.

Inside the plane, three bodies were found. Unfortunately, the condition of the plane prevents access to the other seven, according to information shared by Coast Guard officials.

The crash site was located on snowy terrain approximately 34 miles southeast of Nome. The Coast Guard released an image of the wreckage showing two recovery team members amidst the snow.
