Prime Minister Netanyahu has made it clear that Israel is committed to continuing its fight against Hamas. He asserts that military operations in the Gaza Strip will persist if all hostages are not released by the upcoming Saturday at noon.
The Prime Minister echoed the strong statements made by former U.S. President Donald Trump just a day earlier.

Donald Trump, on his part, had issued a stern warning to Hamas, pledging to unleash severe consequences on the Gaza Strip if hostages were not freed promptly.
The former president emphasized that the hostages should have been released already. He insisted on respecting the ceasefire agreement’s integrity, warning of potential consequences otherwise.

Israel has cautioned that its response will involve intensified military actions, though it hasn’t specified the exact nature or location of these operations, particularly regarding hostages within the Palestinian territory.
Hamas, however, has accused Israel of violating the ceasefire from the beginning. They criticize Israel for preventing essential aid from reaching the nation, which has been severely affected by famine. This restriction has left countless innocent women and children without adequate food and water, deepening their hardships.

Moreover, Hamas condemned President Trump for the aggressive language used during his announcements. They argue that his rhetoric only inflames the already tense situation, despite their efforts to adhere to their side of the ceasefire agreement.
