A devastating accident has occurred involving an air ambulance that tragically crashed into a hospital, resulting in the loss of four lives and leaving numerous others injured.

This unfortunate incident unfolded as the helicopter crashed shortly after taking off. It was struggling with heavy fog in the southwest region of Turkey, eventually plummeting onto the side of the hospital building.

The helicopter had ascended from the rooftop of a hospital in the city of Mugla, aiming to head towards Antalya, despite challenging visibility conditions. This ill-fated journey was captured in images shown by the NTV television channel.

The broadcast depicted the helicopter’s initial flight efforts. However, due to dense fog, it struggled to maintain its course, veering off in various directions just minutes after takeoff.
