Boeing 737 Flight Carrying 188 People Skids Off The Runway After Landing In THIRD Air Incident Under 24 Hours

A startling development unfolded when a Boeing 737, with 188 people aboard, skidded off the runway after attempting to land.

The incident involved KLM Royal Dutch Airlines’ flight KL 1204, which went off course on runway 18 at Oslo Torp Sanderfjord Airport during an emergency landing.

The flight departed from Oslo Airport but had to redirect to Torp Sanderfjord urgently.

Thankfully, the plane managed to touch down on the runway, but during the final stages of landing, it lost control and veered onto the grassy area adjacent to the taxiway.

According to Planespotters, the Boeing aircraft in question is over 24 years old.

Initial findings revealed more about the 182 people on board, which included 176 passengers and six crew members.

The event involved a KLM Boeing 737-800 aircraft, a popular narrow-body aircraft in commercial aviation. This led to a diversion from Oslo Airport and culminated in a runway excursion, which is presently being investigated.

This news arrives mere hours after a South Korean Airline mishap in Muan, where a suspected bird strike caused malfunctions in the plane’s landing gear.
