Chaos At Canadian Airport After Plane Goes Up In FLAMES While Skidding Down Runway During Rough Landing

A day of pandemonium unfolded at a Canadian airport when a plane made a distressing landing attempt after declaring an emergency.

An Air Canada flight burst into flames as it skid along the runway, leading to a terrifying ordeal for many, though fortunately, there were no significant injuries.

This unnerving event took place at Halifax Stanfield International Airport, prompting its immediate shutdown. The Air Canada plane, which was on a flight from St. Johns, caught fire after its landing gear failed to deploy properly during the landing.

PAL Airlines, the company managing the flight, elaborated on the incident. This ordeal followed another aviation disaster where a plane crashed into a concrete barrier in South Korea, claiming the lives of all passengers, while two crew members survived.

The plane reportedly tilted approximately 20 degrees to the left as it skidded, generating an explosive noise that, to many onlookers, mimicked a crash. The aircraft’s wing made contact with the ground, alongside the engine.

Witnesses described the plane’s intense shaking. Suddenly, flames erupted from its left side while smoke started to infiltrate the cabin through the windows.

As the plane skidded roughly along the runway for a significant period, the pilots made frantic efforts to regain control. Once the plane halted, rapid evacuation procedures ensued, successfully ushering passengers to safety as emergency teams worked diligently to extinguish the flames.
