Climate Scientist Warns ‘The Worst Is Yet To Come’ As Winds Gain Speed Causing Aircrafts to Ground and Buildings Continuing to Burn in Palisades Fire

Recently, climate scientists have expressed serious concern that the situation in Los Angeles could get much worse after the recent wildfires.

The strong winds are exacerbating the fires, allowing them to spread rapidly across Los Angeles County, according to reports.

As Radar Online reported, approximately 1000 buildings have been damaged or destroyed. Firefighters are tirelessly working to bring the flames under control.

Unfortunately, the intense winds have hampered rescue and relief operations, grounding all aircraft and severely limiting water resources, worsening the crisis.

The governor of California has declared a state of emergency. Two people have tragically lost their lives, and thousands have been evacuated, with many more in the process of relocation to safer areas.

Due to wind gusts reaching speeds of 80 to 100 MPH in certain locations, aerial support was halted at 8 am.

Margaret Stewart from the Los Angeles Fire Department provided an update, indicating that officials are continuously monitoring the evolving situation.

The timing for resuming air travel has yet to be determined, depending on when conditions become safe enough to lift the current temporary restrictions.
