Donald Trump To Be Sworn in On Bible Given to Him by His Mother, And The Lincoln Bible As Historic Inauguration Is Just Moments Away

Donald Trump is preparing to be inaugurated as the 47th president of the United States.

During the swearing-in ceremony scheduled for Monday, he will lay his hands on two significant Bibles, signaling the conclusion of the 60th presidential inauguration ceremony.

The Bible has special significance for Trump, as it was gifted to him by his mother in 1955, marking his graduation from primary school at Sunday Church—a memory he treasures deeply.

This cherished book is a 1953 revised edition released by Thomas Nelson and Sons in New York, and Trump’s name is prominently displayed on the lower front cover.

Inside, it contains the signatures of church officials, his name, and other details relating to the gift.

Not only is this Bible dear to him, but during the ceremony, he will also place his hand on the historic Lincoln Bible, used during the inauguration of President Abraham Lincoln in 1861.

The inauguration event will occur indoors, a first in over forty years, as Trump decided to make this change in response to the cold weather.
