A massive and frightening wildfire is currently raging unchecked in Northern Los Angeles, causing grave concern for residents and authorities alike.

This fire, named the Hughes Fire, has ferociously consumed nearly 10,000 acres of land. Consequently, over 30,000 individuals have been given the order to evacuate for their safety.

The blaze is wreaking havoc only weeks after strong winds caused a spate of dangerous fires through Southern California.

The outbreak of the fire is located approximately 40 miles away from the devastating Eaton and Palisades fires. It has escalated, swallowing up to 10,176 acres, according to reports from the Los Angeles Fire Chief.

As of now, around 31,000 people have been urged to evacuate promptly, and a further 23,000 face evacuation warnings as they reside in nearby areas potentially in danger.

Disturbing images have overwhelmed the community, displaying skies painted ominous shades of orange and red. In response, approximately 4,000 firefighters are battling tirelessly to control the blaze, yet only 14% of the fire has been contained thus far.
