A trans woman is speaking out about the immense frustration she felt when her gynecologist refused to provide her with medical care.

She explained that the judgment from the medical professional came without even meeting her, which left her feeling deeply upset and alienated.

This incident sparked a significant uproar, leading her to demand legal action against the doctor who she feels has unfairly denied her care.

Jessica Yaniv, a Canadian resident, took to Twitter to express her feelings of shock, confusion, and mistreatment.

“I’m deeply hurt. How can such behavior be acceptable? I’m facing a medical issue and doctors should not act this way,” she expressed.

At 32, she highlighted the difficulty in securing referrals and how being denied an appointment at a gynecologist’s office, due to their lack of service for trans patients, came as a complete shock.
