LA Fire Death Toll Rises to 24 as Locals WARNED to Brace for 72 Hours of Hell

The devastating fires in Los Angeles have tragically claimed 24 lives, with alarming warnings about severe weather conditions taking center stage.

Reports from local media highlight that these fierce blazes could persist for another three days, leaving communities on edge.

Meteorologists have cautioned residents about life-threatening winds that have reached 70mph, expected to increase on Sunday evening.

The wind strength will persist until Wednesday, raising concerns about the fires spreading further across southern California.

“The forecast is not favorable at this time,” warned Rose Schoenfield, the chief meteorologist.

This weather warning also prevents residents from safely returning home to assess the damage and hinders first responders in their efforts to locate individuals who may still be trapped or missing, authorities explained.

Four wildfires have burned through over 40,000 acres in some of LA’s most affluent areas, affecting upscale neighborhoods and some iconic celebrity homes and popular restaurants.

Among the devastation, 12,300 structures have been completely destroyed. According to the LA medical examiner, the death toll on Sunday afternoon rose to 24 as a result of these fires.

Many people remain missing, and those who have been evacuated are understandably anxious about the state of their homes. Searches are underway, with cadaver dogs assisting in locating those who have perished. The sheriff has warned that the number of fatalities may continue to increase.
