President Donald Trump certainly seems to have a knack for getting things done these days.
In his promise to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, it seems like his intentions are materializing.

Google Maps is gearing up to adjust the name from the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, following the directives of the new President.
This name change was a part of Trump’s sweeping executive orders executed shortly after he took office on January 20.

Google aims to update the US Geographic Names System to reflect this new name, and users in America will see the change soon. However, the Gulf will keep its original name in Mexico.
Elsewhere, both names will be displayed on Google Maps. This development marks another achievement for Trump, especially after Colombia agreed to accept its deported migrants.

The current administration elaborated on Friday about its plans to amend the name of Alaska’s Denali, North America’s tallest peak.
Google Maps, operated by Alphabet, also hopes to consider the same treatment for Mount McKinley soon.
