In a heart-wrenching development, the body of an 11-year-old girl, who had gone missing, was discovered in the woods just a day after her sister made an emotional plea for her return.

The tragic incident has led French authorities to take decisive action, arresting two individuals and initiating a murder investigation.

Young Louise Lasalle, a resident of Essonne in northern France, was last seen around 1:50 pm on a Friday afternoon when she left her middle school to head home.

When Louise failed to return, her parents immediately contacted the police, setting in motion a widespread search for their missing daughter.
