A life has been cut tragically short.
Jake Hall — a British artist and reality TV personality best known for appearing on the U.K. series ‘ The Only Way Is Essex’ — died May 6 after a tragic accident at a villa in Mallorca, Spain. He was 35.

Hall reportedly suffered fatal head injuries caused by shards of glass, according to The Sun, citing local police officers who responded to the scene. Spanish Civil Guard officials are investigating the incident, though authorities told BBC News it “appears to be an accidental death.” Autopsy results are still pending.
Police reportedly found the 35-year-old former reality TV star with fatal head injuries in what investigators believe was a tragic accident. Authorities are focusing on the theory that Hall may have struck his head through a glass door, causing the fatal wounds.

Per the Sun, a source claimed: “Witnesses told investigators he had been out partying all night and decided to carry on the party back at the place he was renting.
“It appears from what police have been told that he became agitated, possibly from alcohol and other substances he may have consumed.”
The source went on to say things “turned aggressive” and he was banging his head against objects in a very potentially dangerous manner.
Hall was the father of 8-year-old daughter River, whom he shared with reality star Misse Beqiri, known for appearing on Ladies of London and The Real Housewives of Cheshire. Following his death, Beqiri’s representative shared a statement with E! News saying her focus is on supporting and protecting their daughter during the devastating loss.
Hall joined The Only Way Is Essex — often called TOWIE — during its 14th season in 2015. The popular British reality show follows the personal and romantic lives of young people living in Essex, England. Hall remained on the series through season 17 and was also known for his past relationship with a castmate.
“Jake was a part of the TOWIE family for a number of years,” a TOWIE statement said “and we send our very deepest sympathies to his family and friends following today’s very sad news.”
After spending time working in fashion, Hall later focused on building a career as an artist after relocating to Mallorca, where he grew up. He previously shared that his daughter River inspired him to begin drawing during a difficult period in his life, helping him rediscover creativity and find a sense of peace after struggling emotionally and losing sleep.
Just hours before his death, Hall shared a video montage on social media featuring moments from his life in Mallorca. The clips included River dancing, Hall painting on large sheets, spending time with friends and exploring the island he called home.
