Supporters of Donald Trump are rallying for him to act on his bold statement about Gaza, suggesting he replace the conflict-ridden area with what they envision as a new ‘MAGA strip’.

Representative Nancy Mace from South Carolina seems eager to spearhead this initiative, encouraging Trump’s vision by posting on X: “Let’s Turn Gaza into Mar-a-Lago.”

Online, Trump enthusiasts quickly jumped on board, spreading numerous memes that humorously depicted the president’s proposal. They imagined a bustling new development in place of the current turmoil, bringing countless jobs and residences to the region.

Some, however, were critical, particularly of artificial intelligence-generated images that depicted Trump clad in traditional Arab attire, blending the familiar Trump Hotel and Casino aesthetics with a backdrop of Gaza.

Trump clarified that his intentions were not to secure any long-term control over the area but to contribute to the establishment of peace and stability there.

Not everyone is convinced by this vision. Concerns were immediately raised regarding the fate of Gaza’s two million Palestinian inhabitants and Hamas’s potential reaction to such a proposal.
