Recently, a terrifying incident took place in Germany when a car was driven into a large crowd at a Christmas market in the eastern region of the country. Reports indicate this shocking event resulted in the loss of two lives and left more than 80 individuals injured.

The driver, identified as a local family doctor, was reportedly driving at a dangerously high speed in a dark BMW when the disaster unfolded. He was subsequently apprehended by police, who surrounded his vehicle with armed guards, as confirmed by government officials.

One eyewitness recounted the incident, highlighting the incredible speed of the vehicle and the fear it instilled in those present. The vehicle reportedly covered an alarming distance of 400 meters through the bustling Christmas market, according to a police spokesperson.

Further details identified the suspect as being of Saudi origin. Tragically, among the fatalities were young children, while many others were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care.

Video footage from the scene captured heartbreaking moments, with children seen lying on the ground, crying and in distress, as smaller groups gathered to assist the injured.
