White House Press Secretary STUNS Reporters With WARNING to Those Who ‘Lie’ About Trump & Refuse To Use ‘Gulf of America’

Donald Trump’s press secretary recently caught reporters off guard with a straightforward message that was more of a cautionary note than anything else.

Karoline Leavitt issued a clear warning to the media, stating that if they spread falsehoods about Trump’s administration, there would be repercussions. This announcement was made in response to inquiries about the White House’s decision to bar the Associated Press from two presidential events.

The situation arose after the media outlet declined to comply with Trump’s directive to rename the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America, as stated in an executive order he had issued.

Leavitt explained that covering the White House is undoubtedly a privilege, and as the press secretary, her role carries significant responsibility.

She pointed out that no one has the inherent right to enter the Oval Office and question the President without being invited to do so.

During her initial briefing, Leavitt openly expressed her stance. She believed that several media outlets were disseminating falsehoods, and consequently, they would hold them accountable.

On Wednesday, The Associated Press was present at Leavitt’s briefing, with their correspondent in the usual front-row spot. Leavitt, however, chose not to call upon that reporter to ask any questions.

Subsequently, an AP reporter was not included when journalists were summoned to the Oval Office for another significant event, which was the swearing-in of the new Director of National Intelligence.
